Bethany is a mother, a German shorthaired pointer enthusiast, a photographer, and an all-around animal lover. As a registered vet technician, she spends her workdays caring for our community's sick and wounded pets at one of our local notables clinics. She currently has five dogs, and her pack is still growing. Her canine companions currently consist of her eldest dog, a terrier mix, Raaja. Abu, her bully mix, and three German Pointers, Lilo, Stitch, and Mercury.  Over the past few years, German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP) has become a great passion as she has gone from owning her first GSP to being a true fancier for the breed. Bethany's GSPs are dual dogs competing in the field, show, and other performance sports. Bethany also has a wonderful eye for photography; her dog and field photos are especially noteworthy. Bethany wears many hats and wears them well, but her most important position in life is being a mother to her wonderful children.

Melinda Benbow is the owner and operator of Urban Uplander petcare in Indianapolis, Indiana. Urban Uplander pet care specializes in dog training, boarding services, and positive reinforcement-based upland training. Melinda is a dog training ambassador for Orvis company and emphasizes the importance of proper basic obedience and upland-based training for bird dogs. With methods that vary from some traditional hunting dog training, she hopes to make hunting and bird dog-related sports more accessible to the average pet owner. She is an English Setter enthusiast and owns two field-bred setters, Suge and Jasper. She also shared her home with three mixed-breed dogs, Fluff, Tay, and Hilda, as well as three cats. She participates in field and other performance sports like dock diving. She aims to venture into the show ring once she acquires a show-quality English Setter.
